PURPOSE The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all the experiences of the early childhood are defined, consolidated, enriched, and extended through quality, educational programmes in a stimulating, inclusive environment where teaching takes place through discovery and play with concrete observation, assessments, and continuous communication with parents. Promote aesthetically pleasing, develops and promotes an enthusiasm for learning and holistic development. Ensuring health and safety regulations. Facilitating communication within the classroom specifically. Provide guidance to parents via activity planners and input regarding the young child. KEY AREAS Teaching classroom care/supervision/stimulation/interaction Administration Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting Safety and Health Control REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS NQF 6, in ECD or related field 3 years' experience in teaching ECD SKILLS Observation, reporting, conflict resolution, problem solving, listening, good command in English written and spoken communication skills. Interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, level headedness, think objectively.
