We are currently recruiting for a Pre Sales Engineer (White Space) to join our team. The Pre-Sales Engineer at Legrand Data Center Solutions is responsible in the management of Enterprise Clients and Data Center activity Key Accounts projects. The Pre-Sales Engineer will report directly to the General Manager. Daily interaction with minimum of three appointments per day and development of strategic Legrand topics with Key distributors/channels/Investors, with the planning of special actions to increase brand awareness and sales of products defined during the Annual Sales conference Carry out designs and presentations to Engineers and Data Centre projects on all White Space products Carry out inspections of assigned Customer accounts and Projects, to establish correct practices according to Legrand's requirements whilst being installed by the after sales Engineers. Project manage and accurate sales/volume forecasts for specific product lines per Customer or project. (At least 10 Projects must be managed at any given time) Strict sales target generation, must be achieved Adequate market knowledge by continuously monitoring and analysing Competitors, market size & volume, new trends etc. Keep administrative records and carry out reporting as required by the employer The Management of the Southern African Legrand Data Center Solutions assigned region, ensuring that your total perimeter reaches assigned KPI's and annual budgets Respect and ensure that you comply with Legrand sales strategy and company policies. The management of White space PL's The preparation of Annual budgets and Legrand Marketing files (LRP) Ensuring that the annual Gross Margin and Net profit is managed and achieved The Managing and introduction of new products in line with Market trends and pricing Perform any other duties that can be reasonably expected within this position outside normal working hours Manage and monitor internal communication processes between departments and ensure effective delivery and services Responsible for reports on Customer service level, all reconciliations, and back orders for projects. Analyse logistics flows of goods and introduce cost saving initiatives and systems to ensure cost effective movement of goods whilst ensuring right level of customer service Ensure the use of accurate, effective, relevant and action driven reports that will highlight risk and costs savings Execute all duties in strict requirement of Legrand South Africa's compliance, health and Safety regulations, Legrand way rules and local legislation Min 3 years' experience on White Space solutions or Tertiary Diploma with proven track record In depth knowledge on Copper, Fiber, PDU, Containment solutions and KVM Key Performance Indicators Specify Legrand products on projects Selling of services within UPS, CRT's, Busbar and Power Distribution boards Selling solutions Respect project reporting Respect management and stock planning of project Actively promoting Legrand at Consultants and the Economical Chain Weekly and monthly reporting Sales Force Maintenance & Reporting Basic Salary Motor vehicle allowance Medical aid contribution Pension Company mobile, cellphone & laptop Fuel card Apply Now
