Our client seeks to employ a suitably experienced and qualified Principal Engineer with automotive industry experience. This role is responsible for the research, development, and design of products and engineering projects, and the management of a team of engineers to ensure the products or project developments are completed successfully on time, with expected quality, within budget and to customer specifications. Must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BTech Eng) with at least 5 years' experience within the automotive industry in product development or similar senior role. Must be familiar with quality systems – ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and be able to work effectively in a team environment and individually. Good time management and project management skills are key, strong interpersonal and people management skills are essential.
