Our client is an international giant that manufactures safety technologies for the underground mining sector. They are looking for a process orientated Production/ Print Technician who will prepare, service, adjust/set, maintain and operate production equipment. The main duty of this role is in doing the actual building and installing of products, operating and running the sticker printer, applying the stickers to the products and compiling of all quality control documentation. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job orders, materials usage, and quality control checks. Apply stickers and artwork to products and surfaces following provided layouts and quality standards, ensuring precise placement. Set up printing jobs aligned to the specifications and requirements. Installing components in accordance with to internal and external requirements. Test all relevant installations. Electrical fault finding and Electrical work as required. Stores work as required. Knowledge of onsite safety regulations and protocols. Ensuring the quality and efficiency of sticker production. Loading and management of consumables and materials. Experience operating printing equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or printing environment. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for equipment maintenance. Slight understanding of QC processes and documentation. Trade license would be beneficial. R 15 000 - R 22 000 ctc per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
