Internal / External Advertisement Process Recoveries: Estate Administration & Administration Order Reporting to: Team Manager: Process Recoveries Job Purpose: To facilitate the collections process of: - Deceased accounts: ensuring claims ae logged against deceased debtor's estate - Execution of Sequestration/Liquidate orders received from debtor's estates - Execution of Administration orders received Location: Woodstock, Cape Town Key Performance Areas Under the management / direction of the Team Manager, the Process Recoveries Administrator will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to): - Deceased Estates - Source Executors Details - Establish status of Deceased Estate - Negotiate settlements. - Lodge claims against debtors' estate. - Recoveries of Deceased matters - Account administration to satisfy accounting practices. - Responsible for the Yield % of the total book - Sequestration/Liquidation Order - Administration of the court orders - Completion of the claims requisition forms - Sending of requisition form and settlement offers to the Trustees. - Recoveries of Sequestrated/Liquidated Estates - Responsible for the Yield % of the total book - Administration orders - Receiving of Administration order application via post and email - Negotiate settlement and or agree repayment terms - Responsible for the Yield % of the total book Requirements - English language proficiency and one other South African language - Intermediate to Advanced Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) - Minimum of 1 years' experience in Estate administration claims - Minimum of 1 years' experience in the financial industry would be advantageous. - Experience with collating information and presenting the findings. Skills/Knowledge/Attributes - Knowledge of the National Credit Act , Debt Collectors Act, Prescription Act, Consumer Protection Act, Magistrates Court Act (Rule 9) , In duplum rule, POPIA Act , Prescribed Rate of Interest Act, SACCRA Rules - Strong communication (verbal and written) skills - Strong administrative discipline, organization, and planning skills - Patient - A high level of emotional maturity - Analytical thinking - Customer service driven - Time management - Intermediate in Conflict resolution - Independent thinking - Compliance and self-management - Assertiveness - Problem solving skills. - High attention to detail - Ability to think on your feet and use initiative. - Ability to listen actively and provide feedback - A pro-active team player - works well in a team and contributes to the team success. Remuneration Structure: - A basic salary - Benefits at the full cost to the Employer; o Funeral Cover (at the full cost of the employer) o Life Cover (at the full cost of the Employer) o Disability Cover (at the full cost of the Employer) o Medical Cover (at the full cost of the employer, after successful completion of the probation period) - Subsidized schooling at Nimble Peak Child Educare (Ages: 3 months - 5 years) Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays: 07:30 - 20:30 Saturdays: 2 compulsory Saturday from 08:00 - 14:00 How do I apply?
