Dynamic and expanding company in the industrial sector is looking for an experienced Procurement Adminstrator to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Director, the Procurement Administrator will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing procurement activities within the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services, as well as maintaining accurate procurement records. Procurement: Collaborate with various departments to identify their procurement needs and specifications. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, compare prices, and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms. Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant procurement documentation. Evaluate supplier performance and address issues or concerns to optimize supplier relationships. Ensure that all relevant supplier documentation is on file and updated regularly. Purchase Order Processing: Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs. Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of procurement transactions, contracts, and agreements. Generate reports on procurement activities for management review Training and Other : Organize and collate the training information from the departments and ensure the relevant information is submitted to Training department. Capture the monthly ESG information on the company portal. Assist the SHEQ Manager with monthly information for the SHEQ Report Grade 12 Degree in Business Administration or Procurement, or a related field would be advantageous. 3-5 years Proven experience in procurement and administration. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical practices, and industry trends Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. R20 000 - R25 000 CTC Apply Now
