Hire Resolve's client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Gauteng, is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Agent to join their team. The Procurement Agent will be responsible for coordinating and executing procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for the company. Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, prices, and quality of products/services Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, including terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and process improvements Requirements Proven work experience as a Procurement Agent or similar role Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices Excellent negotiation and communication skills In-depth understanding of supplier management and contract negotiation Proficiency in procurement software and systems Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Relevant degree or certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Proven communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and Afrikaans Must have a valid SA driver’s license Benefits Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
