An established agro- processing company is seeking a Procurement and Stores Administrator to manage procurement processes and maintain efficient store operations, ensuring timely sourcing of suppliers, price negotiations, maintaining stock levels, and overseeing inventory control. Minimum requirements for the role: Must have completed a Grade 12 A tertiary qualification would be a distinct advantage Minimum 4 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or stores within a fast-paced production environment will be required Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required Must have excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, and MS Office, with experience in SAP Business One as an added advantage The successful candidate will be responsible for: Sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for procurement based on service, price, and quality. Negotiating prices with suppliers and maintaining good supplier relationships. Maintaining optimum stock levels and zero redundant stock. Receiving stock orders and ensuring quality and quantity are in accordance with the order. Preparing budgets, costings, and analysis for purchasing items. Following up with suppliers on deliveries, returns, invoices, and credit notes. Issuing stock from stores/stock control to all departments daily. Maintaining and controlling storerooms at all locations. Communicating inventory and ordering issues to managers in a timely manner. Implementing electronic ordering and stock systems on SAP.
