in2food is a premium food and beverage manufacturer specialising in private label and own brands. An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. This position requires the individual to be the primary point of contact between suppliers and the business, responsible for the procurement of products and goods by identifying potential supplier sources, screening them and negotiating favorable payment terms. • Manage the purchasing of RMs, packaging and consumables as per requirementfrom various departments within the Kommetjie Site. • Ensure that the correct quality RMs and packaging is purchased according to product specifications, at best price to ensure continued supply to meet operational requirements. • Ability to negotiate favorable contracts with key suppliers, collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that RMs and packaging meets the required standards. • Establish procurement plans for short/medium and long-term requirements and communicate effectively with the site management team and supplier base. • Manage an effective communication channel with all suppliers, procurement, commercial and NPD, as well as operational teams. • Ensure that contracts and SLAs are compliant with in2food policies and legal requirements. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the procurement team. •Plan for Special Occasion production requirements for RM's, packaging and imported biscuit tins. • Stay abreast of local and international risks that could have an impact on the availability of RM's and packaging. • Grade 12/Matric • Post matric qualification advantageous • Must have a valid Code B/08 driver's license • Strong negotiator with deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and Syspro Market Related
