RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our client's team in the renewable energy industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to support our client's renewable energy projects.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services for renewable energy projectsIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to secure the best pricing, quality, and deliveryCollaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align procurement processes with project timelines and budgetsMonitor and track procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules, to ensure compliance with project requirements and organizational policiesConduct market research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and suppliers in the renewable energy industryDevelop and maintain a database of pre-qualified suppliers and contractorsManage supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may ariseEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procurement policiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliersRequirementsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy industryProven track record of successfully managing procurement processes and achieving cost savingsStrong negotiation and communication skillsKnowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trendsExperience in managing supplier relationships and performanceProficiency in procurement software and toolsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the renewable energy industryBenefitsSalary: R750K/yr - R816K/yr, negotiableRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
