Procurement Supervisor - Cape Town Region

Hire Resolve's client, a leading company in the Chemicals industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Supervisor to join their team in the Western Cape. As a Procurement Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing the procurement process and ensuring the efficient sourcing and supply of chemicals for the company's operations. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the procurement team to ensure smooth and efficient procurement operations Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and supplier performance Source and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes Track and analyze procurement spend and provide reports to management Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant regulations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Chemicals industry Experience in a supervisory or managerial role Strong negotiation and contract management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements Located in the Western Cape or willing to relocate SAP MM experience Code B driver's license Benefits Salary: negotiable Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
