About the Role: The Product Manager is responsible for managing product categories and to implement marketing initiatives in order to create an efficient and profitable product range in South Africa and neighbouring countries. The position reports to the Marketing Executive and with the support of the manager becomes the owner of the product. Drives the optimisation, innovation and the continuous improvements of product ranges and works with both HQ as well as the local engineering team to develop and launch new product lines. Develops and implements the marketing plan in line with marketing strategy and manages activity plans to drive market share and profitability. Salary: R56 000 - R62 000 CTC Ben Product Range Development and Implementation Marketing & Financial Management Sales Forecast & Inventory Brand & Communication Product management & Product development in manufacturing Analytical thinking, ability to carry out complex analysis and make sound judgments at solving problems Preparation and execution of marketing & pricing strategy and business plan Very sound knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, etc), especially Excel Presentation / Communication skills A team player who is great at building professional working relationships Proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work quickly and with accuracy to meet deadlines Empathy, and a genuine desire and passion to solve our customer's problems Show initiative, creativity, integrity and teamwork Qualifications and Experience: 5 years experience as a Product Manager in FMCG NQF Level 7 or 8 (Bachelors degree) in Economics / Business / Commerce
