As the newly appointed Product Owner for our client based in Cape Town, your primary mandate is to ensure excellence in the development process. Your role entails gaining deep insights into the customer base and collaborating closely with the Head of Brand Experience & Insights to grasp the overarching business strategy comprehensively. You’ll engage with diverse teams across the organization to comprehend the customer journey intricately, thus guaranteeing an unparalleled experience for the clientele. Our client seeks a technically proficient individual capable of swiftly grasping the competitive landscape. Your responsibilities include formulating requirements, aligning strategies, and maintaining oversight across the entirety of the product journey to ensure seamless delivery. Your key job responsibilities as the Product Owner in Cape Town will include: Collaborate with stakeholders to align Product roadmaps with business goals Use various discovery techniques to address customer needs and drive growth Prioritize customer-centric decision-making and leverage data insights for optimization Work closely with UX and design teams to translate requirements into actionable designs Support leadership in creating business cases and measuring success through KPIs Coordinate with technology teams for incremental delivery and Agile development Serve as a central point of contact during development and testing phases Conduct user acceptance testing and engage key stakeholders proactively Requirements for this Product Owner job in Cape Town: An avid sports enthusiast with substantial experience in the Betting and Gaming sector, possessing a keen insight into customer preferences Proven track record in defining and delivering customer-centric products, both internally and externally Proficient in utilizing various product discovery techniques to evaluate the suitability of product requirements across all levels Skilled in leveraging data for informed decision-making Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders effectively Familiarity with Agile software development practices and methodologies, understanding their organizational benefits Requirements acceptance testing, Agile, brand experience, business strategy, customer journey, design, iGaming, Insights, platform development, product discovery techniques, Product Owner, Sports enthusiast, user stories, UX
