Aftermarket Product Specialist - Midrand The Aftermarket Product Specialist is responsible for handling inquiries from an international client base, for spare parts for standard and customised engineered products. Responsibilities: Providing quotations with the price, lead time and payment terms for spare parts, and liaising with other internal departments as well as field sales personnel and suppliers. Preparing spare parts lists for new equipment. Weekly updating opportunities in the CRM tool. Analysing quotation success rate and provide reports. Utilising specialised technical/product knowledge to sell and promote products and/or services primarily by telephone. Proposing changes in equipment or use of materials resulting in cost reduction, or improvement in operations. Providing technical advice to customers relating to the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Preparing sales quotations and proposals for products, including price and delivery and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Conducting site visits to assess the functionality of installed equipment. Meeting set sales targets. Requirements: Diploma in a technical or commercial program and a minimum of 5 years of functional experience in a similar internal sales role or related experience in a maintenance function. Have an in-depth knowledge of Dairy/ Food processing plant operation and maintenance, with sanitary equipment like PHE, Separator, Homogeniser, Mixer, Pumps, Valves, and has preferably worked in factories (maintenance). SAP knowledge essential.
