Job Functions Manage Supplementary Feeds shift Coordinate and Control the Production & Manufacturing Process. Prioritize and organize production activities and requirements. Provide guidance and training in relation to the Production Process. Schedule activities based on priorities and output standards. Maintaining and recommending reviews of Plant and Safe Work Procedures. Train subordinates on Plant and Safe Work Procedures. Proactively maintain a safe work environment through task observations, plant inspections, reporting and investigating near hits. Making alternative options available to resolve Production Constraints. Monitoring, communicating and correcting deviations. Investigating and resolving Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Equipment failure issues to ensure optimum efficiency is maintained, and that Output, Cost, Timelines and Quality Objectives are achieved. Qualifications, Experience, Qualities & Skills Grade 12, a National Diploma in Production/ Operations Management or an Equivalent Qualification in Engineering (Essential) 3 Years’ experience or more in a Production environment, with a minimum of 2 years at supervisory capacity (Essential) Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. (Advantageous) Must have Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Knowledge of People Management. Analytical thinker with Good Problem-Solving Skills. Confident and Self-Motivated.
