Reference: CPT000424-CB-1 We require a qualified Production Foreman to support the Production Manager with all the manufacturing processes from start to end. Minimum Requirements NQF level 5 or equivalent qualification in Engineering related studies Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing industry, controlling and managing production lines and teams Experience with equipment, process flow and line commissioning and capacity to convert requirements to achievable output 3- 5 years' experience managing others Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs. Duties and Responsibilities: Co-ordinates in planning and organizing the manufacturing processes of the company. Plan the short- and medium-term needs of customers. Provide timely updates to the Production Supervisor covering current or forecast production issues that may impact resources, requiring either an increase or decrease of capacity Develop and maintain, daily, weekly and monthly production schedule as well as deadlines Manage output of factory to ensure schedules and targets are met. Exercise prudent control over operational teams Establish and attain production metrics to ensure both internal and external customer requirements are met. Continually monitor GMP compliance and address any shortcomings immediately. Facilitate cross departmental communication and maintain intradepartmental relations with Quality, Research and Development, Laboratory, Marketing, HR, etc Develop and maintain training program for GMP, Draft, drive and implement Standard Operating Procedures to ensure proper process flow Constant review of policies and procedures to ensure relevance and compliance. Ensures that all standard yield are maintained by production lines. Controls production process and production facilities. Monitor and control the general cleanliness, hygienic conditions and maintenance of the factory. Ensures continuous monitoring of production machinery, reports and ensure maintenance requirement for all equipment Ensures that there is discipline and good working culture among the employees Prepares daily output, weekly and monthly production reports. Maintain high levels of safety within factory environment. Drives a safe working environment within the department by ensuring that the business meets GMP standards Implements, drive and ensure Health and Safety protocols are adhered to Controls labour costs Demonstrate adeptness in troubleshooting production challenges and facilitating effective resolutions PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
