RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join a reputable food manufacturing company based in Matroosfontein. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production department and ensuring the efficient and timely production of food products. In this role, you will lead a team of production staff, monitor production processes, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the production department Ensure efficient production planning and scheduling Optimize resource utilization to meet production targets Implement and maintain quality control measures Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures Lead and develop a team of production staff Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Drive continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing role within an FMCG environment, preferably food or beverage industry. Mature confident person with some life wisdom and a high level of integrity. Commercial / financial savvy. Excellent communication skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Good at problem-solving with the ability to work under pressure. Team player. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or BTech (Food Technology, Operations Management, Project Management.)
