Title: Production Manager Industry: Mining Location: Northern Cape, South Africa RPO Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee mining operations in the Northern Cape region. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of minerals from the ground, maximizing production output, and managing the performance of the production team. Responsibilities: Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and deadlines Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime Manage and mentor production team members, providing guidance and support as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Monitor budget and costs to ensure operations are running efficiently Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes and increase profitability Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field Opencast Blasting Certificate At least 5-10 years' experience in open cast mining environment.
