Matric or relevant tertiary qualification with 5 years' FMCG or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience. Previous supervisory experience. Description: A manufacturer of personal care products is looking for a Production Team Leader. This role reports to the Operations Director. The duties include, but are not limited to: attend daily planning meeting; set targets for the day after considering the expected customer delivery dates, work in progress, priorities and available labour; create and update a monthly work plan; hold daily meetings with the Production Team; resolve all queries, concerns or questions daily; ensure that all the necessary staff are available to carry out the work plan; ensure that the staff are trained on SOPs, Work Instructions, Protocols, production machinery and equipment; ensure that all machines and equipment used in the filling and packing process is in good order and is cleaned and sanitized correctly; follow Line Opening Procedure and Quality controls; meet daily deadlines; ensure positive and consistent discipline in the team; motivate staff to continuously improve; ensure that all team members are aware of and have access to company policies; ensure adherence to the applicable Heath, Safety and Environment policies and procedures; ensure that all Job Document Packets are Delivered to Finance daily. Key Requirements: Matric, but a relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial. At least 5 years' FMCG or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience required. Previous supervisory experience essential. Good numerical and Excel skills. Ability and willingness to vary working hours to meet operational and production goals. Additional Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well in and to lead teams. Self-starter that is able to handle pressure. Must be systematic, disciplined and orderly. Process orientated.
