Production/Factory Manager - East London
Production/Factory Manager required for a large manufacturing company based in East London , Eastern Cape Requirements: B Degree / National Higher Diploma – Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Production management 5 years production management experience ESSENTIAL Excellent hands-on shop floor experience within production department People management and development skills Well-developed conflict management skills Ability to lead and motivate teams Highly PC literate Duties: Authorise the planning of work, plant, materials, and machinery utilization Manage production staff in various disciplines Responsibility for asset management Planning, budgeting, and execution of the annual shutdown program Oversee regular audits on all safety control programs Collaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programs Compile financial documentation for capital projects Project management of short-term, medium-term, and long-term projects Ensure adherence of OHS Act, policies, and procedures Management of contractors This position will oversee staff and artisans covering a wide variety of disciplines Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O’Hagan at Kerryprofilepersonnel.co.za Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
