Professional Civil Engineer - Cape Town Region
Position of Employment Summary: The ideal candidate should be a Professional Civil Design Engineer who is professionally registered as a civil engineer with ECSA (not candidate). Hiring: Professional or soon to be registered Civil Engineer or Technologist (Cape Town) - Roads, water, stormwater and sewer The engineer is required but not limited to the following activities: · Project Leader or Senior Design Engineer · Assist clients with project inception and sourcing of project funds · Investigate alternative solutions to problems · Compile or review technical reports · Compilation of project reports and data collection · Manage project staff with draughting, design and detailing · Maintain ISO 9001 quality assurance standards · Perform complex civil designs · Review all the project designs and drawings · Assist as reviewer with design reviews of others projects · Initiate project design reviews · Prepare manhour budgets and control project finances · Initiate Client Surveys and request client reference letters · Archive project to current requirements · Compile project sheets · Project management Requirements: BSC/BTech Civil Engineering degree Professional registration with ECSA or soon to be professionally registered.
