- Registered professional quantity surveyor
- Minimum experience 4-5 years
- Must have worked in a professional quantity surveying practice/firm candidates working for construction companies will not be considered
- Must have retail / commercial experience
- Must have a positive attitude, be able to multitask, and manage junior staff on various projects
- Must be proficient in WinQS (all modules), Dimex, MS Office
- Review working drawings for compliance with the approved budget
- Prepare documentation for both principal & subcontract procurement
- Preparing predicted cash flows
- Estimate possible variations for client decision-making
Candidate responsibilities - Attend project meetings.
- Assisting with a tender evaluation
- Compile & conclude contract documentation from budget preparation, tender procurement & evaluation towards signature of the agreement
- Preparing predicted cash flows
- Estimate possible variations for client decision-making
- Adjudicate & resolve financial claims by contractors
- Prepare, draft & conclude final accounts & measurements for works on a progressive basis including cash flow predictions, estimated variation costs, exercise financial control & payment valuations
- Preparing valuations for payment certificates to be issued by the principal agent
- Concluding final accounts for payment valuations & project closeout
