Job Description Anticipated Contract Length/End Date: July 2024 Our client in the information technology and consulting industry is seeking a Program Manager to be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful launch of global corporate events. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while also providing leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. What you will do: Oversee event management and manage design and copywriting support. Coordinate event collateral/assets including social media, and assist with various day-to-day tasks leading up to global events. Manage blog series and monthly build promo. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the program, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to effectively manage project resources and milestones. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution. Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communications with stakeholders and project teams. Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. Manage project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, providing guidance, and mentorship to project team members. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, marketing or related field. Proven experience in program or project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Program managing large, global corporate events experience preferred. Experience working with or being part of marketing teams preferred. Professional services or similar industry background preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint etc. Knowledge of project management methodologies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and adaptable approach to managing change and uncertainty. Accustomed to working with global teams for international collaboration. Flexible to work outside of regular time zone hours to accommodate deadlines, tasks and meetings for event management/stakeholder management.
