Agile Programme / Project Manager (JB4302) Remote (For candidates based in Gauteng Only) R1 000 000 to R1 150 000 Annually CTC Permanent A Travel Retail Software company is looking for a dedicated Agile Programme / Project Manager to oversee comprehensive planning, governance, and successful project delivery. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role requires practical experience in managing substantial deliverables within an agile environment. With globally distributed teams, the company embraces a flexible approach to remote and office-based work, encouraging freedom, collaboration, and exploration Minimum Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification Agile Project Management certification (preferably CPAPM or SAFe) 10 years in Project Management (At least 5 in managing Agile Projects) Experience in managing projects with both physical and digital products Experience with Scaled Agile Framework Portfolio Management is advantageous Experience with Office 365 (Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel) Experience with tools like JIRA, MS DevOps, etc Experience with Design Thinking tools like Miro, Figma, etc Experience with DevOps and increasing Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment maturity is advantageous Deep understanding of iterative product development methodologies - such as SAFe and scrum methodologies Ability to work with and influence remote teams Strong planning, communication (written and verbal), presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills Strong leadership and management skills The ability to manage project/product budgets The ability to coach business units to manage resource allocation The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems Project Cross Skills would be advantageous (Change Management, Test Analyst, Business Analyst, etc) Duties and Responsibilities: Liaise and work with various stakeholders (including clients) and Business Unit Executive Heads to align the objectives/outcomes of the assigned programme with the business's overall strategy and goals Drive programme priority across business units Guide business units on resourcing and structure across Projects/epic Ensure all Projects/Epics have a clear benefit hypothesis/statement and clear acceptance criteria Manage the Programme approval and prioritization procedures Align Programme Deliverables Coordinate and synchronize Projects/epic-related activities with all stakeholders Manage the Programme budget Manage the Programme Risk Register Define the programme governance (controls) For Software Projects, collaborate with the Software Product Management and System and Solution Architects/Engineering to decompose the project into features and prioritize the features of Agile Release Train (ART) backlogs Manage Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and other SAFe ceremonies Continuously coach SAFe for rollout across additional business units Understand and report on the progress of the Projects/epics MVP deliverables with key stakeholders Continually assess the viability of the Projects/epic, leading indicators, and the outcomes defined for the epic Work closely with Project Managers/Scrum Masters for projects within the programme Work closely with Test Managers for projects within the programme IMPORTANT: We specialize in specific niche fields.
