Ensure the successful development of wind and solar projects to either be sold to investors and/ or tendered into the DMRE’s REIPPPP • Manage your own wind and solar project portfolio. • Identify, evaluate and select new wind and solar PV opportunities. • Appoint and manage external consultants to undertake inter alia EIAs and other environmental/ planning studies and preliminary engineering studies and site design. • Undertake the numerous other project permitting and approval processes, which entails inter alia regular engagement with relevant government departments (e.g. the DFFE, DAFF, CAA, etc,). • Engage with engineering companies to better understand project grid connection options and prepare required documentation to secure Eskom grid access. • Thoroughly and accurately document and administer all project related information. • Be involved in relevant industry association committees and initiatives.
