Project Engineer Knight Piésold Phalaborwa has a vacancy available for a Project Engineer with project management skills. We require a Professional engineer in the civil or mechanical disciplines with a combined 10 years of experience in performing technical engineering work and the coordination/management of infrastructure maintenance and improvement assignments in the mining, construction or heavy manufacturing industry. Experience required in the management of infrastructure projects in the mining sector. Infrastructure relating to processing plant structures and buildings, waste storage facilities, water transfer and storage systems, transport systems. Civil is the predominant engineering component of the projects, with environmental, mechanical and electrical disciplines the lesser. Good knowledge and understanding of a project management methodology is required in order to effectively (within time, budget and quality parameters) execute projects across all phases of the life cycle i.e. initiation, concept development, feasibility study, design and engineering, construction and commissioning.
