Project Engineer - Klerksdorp, North West - Job ID 3990 Project Engineer with mineral processing experience required to be responsible for the planning and delivery of projects and scope of work at the operation. Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years working experience in mineral processing environment a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered. Certifications in project management or related areas are a plus. Position details: Type: Permanent Job description / core competencies: Mechanical design and manufacturing detail drawings. Managing of sub-contractors. Lead Project controls. Technical reports and manuals. Project proposals and tender preparation. Mineral processing plants commissioning and close-out. Project specific QA/QC. Project specific SHE coordination, documentation, and compliance. Project reporting. Project planning. Location: Klerksdorp, North West Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience: 2-3 years working experience in mineral processing environment. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered. Certifications in project management or related areas are a plus. Proficient in project administration Skilled in technical writing for project documentation, reports, and proposals. Possess foundational knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. Experienced in coordinating and understanding different engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals and milestones. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
