Our client a leader in the Telecommunication industry is currently looking for a Project Manager to be based in Fourways. This role oversees planning, implementing, and executing individual projects and groups of related company projects in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits and control. Manage groups of network projects as directed. Manage virtual project teams including members from Engineering, Operations, Legal and Finance. Create, obtain approval, and manage projects charters, plans, risk registers, budgets, lessons learnt. To project manage client orders from feasibility, pre-sales solution design, sales order signature to handover, achieving high levels of client satisfaction. Bachelor's degree. PMP/PRINCE2 certification or equivalent. 5 year's technical experience in the telecom industry. 3 years in project management role. Must use B/OSS tools, experience of Microsoft Office suite including MS Project, Demonstrate ability to mange multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of technology used in fibre network including Subsea, OTN, DWDM, SDH and Data (Ethernet, IP/MPLS, OSPF, BGP) preferred. Must have a good understanding of Subsea and Long-haul core fibre networks.
