This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of renewable projects. While a project management qualification or electrical experience in projects is preferred, strong administration skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly are essential for this role. • Project Management: Managing the planning, execution, and monitoring of renewable projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. • Ensuring that projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements is paramount. You'll implement robust quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections to uphold the company's reputation for excellence. • Efficient allocation of human, financial, and material resources is essential for optimizing project performance. You'll prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and monitor utilization to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. • As a forward-thinking leader, you'll constantly seek opportunities to improve processes, optimize workflows, and enhance project outcomes. Embracing innovation and adopting best practices will be central to your approach. You'll lead the project's team, guiding them through all phases of project development, from conception to completion. Strong leadership skills are essential for motivating and empowering your team to deliver high-quality results. • Clear and effective communication is key to keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. You'll facilitate regular meetings, provide timely updates, and address any concerns or conflicts that may arise. • Administration: Demonstrate exceptional administration skills by maintaining organized project files, tracking budgets, and ensuring documentation is up to date. • Ensure contractors and time sensitive tasks are managed effectively. • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations is non-negotiable. You'll prioritize the safety of workers, minimize environmental impact, and uphold the company's commitment to sustainability. • Monitoring and evaluating project performance against key metrics is essential for identifying areas of improvement and celebrating successes. You'll conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and recognize outstanding contributions. • Grade 12 is a MUST. • A Bcom or Technical Degree / Diploma in project management an advantage. • Minimum 2- 5 years' experience in: o Industry related (construction, hardware, electrical, renewables) o Solid management experience • Strong administration skills, including proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications. • Knowledge of projects, construction, or electrical practices is a plus. • Must have own vehicle The skills and competencies required for this position amongst others would be: • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely • Able to supervise and delegate accordingly • Work effectively in a team • Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and detail-oriented • Professional attitude and appearance • Be presentable, articulate and punctual • Be able to work under pressure • Meticulous and pay attention to detail • Highly motivated
