Project Manager: Store Fulfilment - Brackenfell

Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the end-to-end delivery of Store Fulfilment channel projects, within the Digital Commerce Supply Chain Solutions team. This role will support in conceptualising, designing, planning, and executing the business, physical and operational readiness activities for new fulfilment infrastructure, processes and capacities within stores. This role will also support the on-going optimisation of existing in-store fulfilment infrastructure and processes. This role will have a critical responsibility for coordination and effective communication across multiple internal (stores, operations, etc.) and external (architects, builders, suppliers, etc.) stakeholders. The successful candidate in this role will possess experience in ecommerce fulfilment, process engineering for Logistics and Supply Chain. Role Description - Support and provide input into conceptualising and designing new store fulfilment solutions, as part of a team - Support the execution and delivery of store fulfilment project deliverables under the guidance of members of the Supply Chain solutions team, pertaining to the development and optimisation of the store fulfilment channel (i.e., from customer ordering to delivery) - Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop project plans, scope and timelines in line with project objectives - Support end-to-end stakeholder readiness pertaining to supply chain project implementation, solution or process change in the store fulfilment channel. - Assist in the planning of new or refined supply chain services or systems and support technical planning and transition into operations, coordinating with multiple functions to ensure organisational readiness for change. - Support the successful transfer of operational, system or business process ownership from the project to relevant ecommerce Store Fulfilment business stakeholders, ensuring consistent delivery approach and governance is applied. - Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across multiple teams to ensure project milestones are met. - Conduct regular check-ins with relevant stakeholders on project delivery milestones and communicate and any potential risks or delays are proactively. - Provide ongoing support to supply chain operations in delivering budgeted productivity improvements through engineering and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change logs. - Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference. - Support the required aspects of solution or project change management, ensuring alignment and integration critical functions and activities between organisational change management, project training, communication and business readiness as deemed necessary, based on high level impact assessment and business delivery needs analysis. Qualifications and experience - Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field?- (essential).?? - Project Management Certification - (desirable) - 4 years' experience in supply chain, logistics or similar role with solid experience driving business or solution delivery, change and readiness for large, multiple and relatively complex supply chain or logistics fulfilment projects / programmes - (essential). - Previous experience with drafting tools, i.e., AutoCAD - (desirable) - Demonstrable experience in process-based thinking, i.e., designing new logistics processes and infrastructure solutions - (desirable) - Experience in coordinating various stakeholder - (desirable). - Solid experience end-to-end project management, delivering business requirements for supply chain or logistics for new and continuous improvement solutions - ((desirable) - Strong understanding of ecommerce retail processes and supply chain operations, with specific exposure on end-to-end client ordering to delivery/order fulfilment - (desirable). - Experience in supplier negotiations, contracts, service level agreements and delivery management - (desirable). - Strong change management capability and experience delivering change involving people, processes, and technology - (desirable). Applies sound discretion and judgement in balancing competing demands and priorities. - Sound eCommerce Supply Chain Management knowledge - Understands of the demand and supply of goods management, quality, and quantity management, including costs and cost efficiencies within in an ecommerce supply chain. - Communication skills - Ability to apply accurate and succinct messaging, present complex concepts simply and communicate actionable findings and recommendations in a way that facilitates change. - Relationship building - Works collaboratively with others to achieve business outcomes. Builds credibility quickly and establishes trust to empower and enables others to integrate and sustain change. - Able to influence and inspire commitment in others, effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties. - Results-oriented and quality focused setting stretch goals for self, while remaining focused and working tenaciously toward meeting and exceeding expectations within quality standards. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands while organising, prioritising, and reordering workload in a rapidly changing and fast-moving environment. - Innovative and solution-orientated - Applying sound judgment and generating solutions that serve the flow of work, quality, and the respective risk mitigation requirements. - Digital centric & savvy -?passionate about the possibilities of digital technologies and its value for business, a self-starter who can come up to speed quickly on our applications, technologies, and processes.
