Manage the programme of work, coordinating resources. Manage quality of work and materials. To care for safety, oversee and supervise. Conduct inspections, prepare defects lists and determine the necessary remedial work. Draw up scope of work and technical specifications for project. Setup & conduct tender meetings, with the help of the Procurement Department. Assist with the compilation of Capital Applications for each Project. Matric plus N3 in the engineering field. Trade Test certificate in brick laying, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, fitting, electrical, etc. Project Management qualifications and working experience in construction environment. Experience compiling and controlling project costs. 3 years supervisory experience. Knowledge of Construction Regulations and/or General Health and Safety Regulations. Good planning and organizing skills. Self-motivated, dependable, honest, and fair. Prepared to work as a team and lead by example. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. A can-do attitude and a quick learner. Must be able to work under pressure and deliver results in urgent situations. Physically mobile and fit. Computer literate and effective in the use of Microsoft Office. Driver's license.
