This role will support the Property management function by drafting and processing lease & administration documents according to the company policy and legislative requirements. Ensuring that data integrity is not compromised and maintaining efficient administration processes. Key Responsibilities: Handling queries from various stakeholders (internally and externally) Actioning lease renewals and paperwork Liaison and follow up with landlords and field staff Preparation of Heads of Agreement Preparation of Project files and the issuing thereof Preparation of Exec Summaries Compiling agendas for Estate's meetings Coordination of meetings and travel arrangements Monitoring and control of all Lease Renewal/Lease Option Exercise/Extended Tenure data Preparation of various reports, including viability schedules Maintain electronic filing system for all developments and store leases Ensure all landlords contact details are maintained on up to date on SAP Pipeline management Other secretarial and adhoc duties Qualifications and Experience: Matric (essential) 4 to 5 years in a lease/property administration environment SAP experience preferable Previous exposure to retail operations would be advantageous Skills: Proficient in Word/Excel and PowerPoint. Good drafting skills The ability to multi-task and use initiative Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sound mathematical ability Behaviours: Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, decision making, interpersonal relations, problem solving, teamwork & written communication You need to be flexible as the environment is very dynamic and priorities can change. Sets ambitious goals and takes focused action to achieve desired outcomes to deliver measurable results Adapts effectively to situations that are complex, uncertain, or lack guidelines and clear information Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
