Proxy Product Owner (Expert level) ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Used to agile working method for fast-track integration in Domain environment. Data and process analytics capability. High resilience on volatile and challenging environment. IT architecture skills Cloud skills (AWS) – Advantageous Integration of standard software in infrastructure (WebEAM.next/Single-Sign on) Execution of compliance checks (Information security, IT security, data protection, other YPA topics) Support of application tests Operations know-how ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: As an advantage: 5 Years' experience working on international projects or assignments. Or additional general mixed experience in IT systems, infrastructure and application architectures and technologies e.g., Operating Systems, Networks, Servers, Databases, Web Technologies (Internet, Intranet), middleware and connection interfaces Predominant authority in determining the achievement of the most important results including its proof (e.g., publications). English language competency. Competence to represent the assigned scope towards all relevant internal functions and roles and external partners, if necessary. Competence for the technical leadership of the Feature Teams. Competence to prioritize the backlogs towards the Feature Teams. Competence to define, request and, if necessary, escalate the resource risks for successful implementation. Work efficiently with what available resources and ensure that the scope is correctly agreed with IT-PdO and Line Manager/Delivery Lead. Competence for technical escalation to the next higher Product Owner hierarchy. Competence to escalate disciplinary issues or non-availability of competencies towards the Line Managers of the Feature Teams. Understanding of business processes and IT regarding scope of the Domain Competence to define and evaluate demands Ability to decide for prioritization jointly with the IT-PdO Implement Product transitions management with the feature team. Ensure availability during Go Live (Weekend) and Hypercare phase as well as Year-End activities (end of Dec/beginning of January) Ensure team deliver on proper documentation and technical design by the feature team. Problem solving capabilities Ability to work as part of the international team Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation Strong presentation skills Above board work ethics Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required Willing and able to travel internationally QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE 8 years' experience in IT industry 1 years' experience in Product Owner environment High Level and overall in-depth business and technical knowledge related to Java/Jenkins/AWS / Hibernate etc. Combined with Business knowledge Project Management skills. Test Driven Development methodology with Test and Defect Management process knowledge is advantageous. Experience in the automative Industry advantageous ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working closely with the line manager, Test analyst, Agile Master and Business Owner of the program planning department to steer and support the feature team from a technical point of view. Act as the extended arm of the IT PDO, working in tandem to ensure that the team is properly lead, has sufficient and qualitative stories in the backlog and to continuously improve the team and processes Manage a technical DevOps team in cooperation with the Product Owner to fulfil the prioritised requirements using agile methodologies. Collaborate with AG Business and IT Product Owners and colleagues across multiple products and countries. Management of PI and Sprint technical and business risks. Guide the team on how to promote efficiency out of self-organized teams. Support the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlogs. Management of product risks with business stakeholders using JIRA. Monitor team development progress and ensure that user stories are completed on time. Facilitate requirements clarification with business if needed. Facilitate escalations on behalf of the IT and Business PdO's to for topics related to errors, issues, and new functionalities (feasibility testing). Management of incidents and problems with the Operation Manager and DevOps feature Initiate Defect management associated with User Stories. Support the DevOps teams if defects arise and lead escalations with Developers, Business, Test resources. Responsible for refinement and prioritization of Product Backlog Items with the Sub Product Owner and key business stakeholders using JIRA. Responsible for the agreement on the technical and business refinement of the User Stories on EPIC level after initial business submission. Support if ensured quality of agreed deliverables (Team-DoR/-DoD and Stakeholder-Requirements) are not met. Management of the Defect Categorisations and Root Cause analysis and resolution with the feature resources. Timely escalations of technical and business and service delivery risks and works in tandem with the IT and Business Product Owners. Synchronise activities with the IT and Business PdO's to ensure that the product PI milestone planning and respective Sprints are streamlined. Forecast and plan for resources, infrastructure, and licenses for the team in coordination with the line manager in charge. Assist Operations Manager to ensure stability of systems and adherence of the team to the Group's Operations standards. Assist Operations Manager to maintain a stable Operations standby list for the team. Assist Line Managers in identifying tech resource gaps within the team. Breakdown the YPA requirements with the Product Owner and implement measures to achieve full compliance on the YPA target. Continuous liaison between Agile Master and Proxy PdO to ensure feature team velocity and feature delivery. Excellent negotiation and people management skills with understanding of business process and user interface with associated functionality.
