We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar PV Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and possess expertise in solar PV system design, including layout optimization, electrical design, and project management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge solar projects and contribute to the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure.Responsibilities: Develop detailed solar PV system designs in accordance with industry standards and project requirements. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal system configurations and energy production estimates. Create layout plans, electrical schematics, and construction drawings using AutoCAD or similar software. Perform shading analysis, energy modeling, and performance simulations to optimize system performance. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution. Provide technical support during project development, including proposal preparation, permitting, and interconnection processes. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to solar PV design and installation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solar PV system design and engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software. Strong understanding of electrical systems, PV technology, and solar industry standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and utility interconnection requirements is a plus. NABCEP certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
