Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team of developers to understand software functions.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality.
Identify, analyze, and document software defects.
Conduct regression testing and validate software fixes.
Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
Monitor bugs resolution efforts and track success rates.
Maintain documentation of tests and test results.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements.

Requirements:

5 years Proven work experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
ISTQB Foundation Level / ISE
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Basic knowledge of coding and scripting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Exhibit flexibility towards extended work hours
Demonstrate effective team collaboration skills
Documentation of test cases
Execution of test cases
Familiarity with top-tier software testing standards
Management and reporting of software defects
Grasping of the SDLC
Previous involvement in software development projects
Comprehension or familiarity with programming languages such as Java, .Net, C++, XML, HTML, among others
Proficiency in using test management or automated test tools.
