QA/QC Engineer - Civil (PV and Substation) - Sasolburg
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Supervisor with a strong background in QA/QC to ensure that all civil aspects of the PV area and substation are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards. Key Activities: Develop, implement, and enforce quality standards and procedures specific to the civil aspects of PV projects. Review civil designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements Inspect and approve civil materials and components, to verify their quality and suitability. Conduct on-site inspections to verify that civil components are installed correctly and according to design specifications. Enforce safety protocols to protect workers during civil construction and ensure compliance with civil safety standards. Oversee and participate in the testing of civil components to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Review and maintain comprehensive records of project documentation related to the civil aspects, including , as-built drawings, and others. Provide training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on civil quality and safety requirements. Requirements: 5 Year’s civil engineering experience Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Experience in quality assurance & pre dispatch inspections of the civil Components Lead Auditor Certificate (advantageous)
