We are urgently searching for a Quality Controller Level 2. We need a QC with level 2 welding inspectors' certificate. Someone with mechanical, power station milling plant maintenance experience. Someone who can start work immediately. Visual inspections or detailed inspections are performed as prescribed or required. 2. Inspection before welding is conducted to ensure: a. Welding procedure sheets are up to date. b. Welder/s are qualified, and qualifications are verified. c. Calibration certificates, material certificates, consumer certificates are available and valid. d. Parent material identification is verified against documentation and markings. e. Welding consumables required are identified and available. 3. Inspections are performed during welding to ensure that welding is following the drawings, weld procedures and application standards. 4. Inspection is performed after welding to determine acceptability of appearance of welds as well as conformity with drawings and standards requirements. 5. Repairs required are identified and correct repair procedure is identified and implemented and recorded as prescribed. Load/s loaded off or on trucks or moved from one area to another. 6. All company policies and procedures and in particular quality and safety procedures are complied with. 7. Signals from assisting employees are observed. 8. Any reasonable instruction is carried out and assistance is provided where required 9. All inspection data is recorded as prescribed. 10. All relevant reports and documents are collated and submitted to the Quality Manager for approval etc. Requirements: Gr 12/N4 – NQF 4 SAIW: Level 2 Inspectors qualification 3 - 4 years Milling Plant Maintenance experience and Power Station experience Local to site (Lephalale) would be beneficial.
