Quality Inspector - - Johannesburg

My client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team in Edenvale, Gauteng. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of welding, castings, forged products, and fabricated items to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate inspection processes.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Write failure reports, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions.
Collaborate with various departments to enhance product quality and drive continuous improvement.
Professionally engage with customers to address concerns and gather feedback effectively.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

SAIW Level 1 or 2 Qualification, or a relevant Engineering qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality inspection within the industry.
Proven experience with Quality Management Systems, preferably with ISO 9001 auditing experience.
Knowledge of industry materials is advantageous.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
