Quality Inspector - - Johannesburg

This global company is a leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry, specialising in providing innovative solutions to the mining sector. All their products are designed in-house by their dynamic engineering team.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer with a strong background in manufacturing and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with welding procedures and codes.
Verify correct assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
Check for proper alignment, fitting, and installation of parts.
Ensure that work instructions and procedures are followed during manufacturing.
Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Conduct a thorough final inspection of the finished products.
Confirm that the products meet all quality and safety standards before release.
Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
Provide feedback to the engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Quality Management Qualification.
Welding Inspector certification would be an advantage.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Familiarity with ISO and other relevant quality standards.
