Receptionist - Paarl

As a Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience from the moment they walk in. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the front desk operations, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling inquiries. Your role will also involve administrative tasks such as maintaining client records, processing payments, and managing inventory. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our spa therapists and staff to coordinate appointments and ensure efficient service delivery. The spa is open from 08h00-20h00 and the ideal candidate will need to be willing / flexible to work late shifts Responsibilities: Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently using our booking system. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Provide detailed information about our spa services, packages, and promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and lobby. Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions securely. Keep accurate records of client information, appointments, and payments. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with spa therapists and staff to coordinate appointments and ensure smooth service delivery. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus. Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a spa or hospitality environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using computer software and booking systems. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
