Reconciliation Administrator to bring new energy to our team.
As the Reconciliation Administrator you will be responsible for the below:- The role involves importing, analyzing and retaining records for audit scrutiny.
- Monthly and daily cost allocations are managed, monitoring which departments costs are allocated for recovery.
- Balance sheets are reconciled monthly, anomalies investigated, and corrected.
- Data from reconciliations and cost allocations are collated and submitted for review by the Senior Financial Controller.
- VAT data, creditor invoices, debit orders, investment fees, and VAT declarations are compiled and processed.
- Transactions for salaries and benefits are captured and reconciled, anomalies investigated and rectified daily.
- Payment control for creditors, medical aids, and payment suspense is maintained. Y
- Reconciliations of monthly tax data are prepared, discrepancies investigated, and recommendations provided for corrective action.
- Assistance is provided to Operations departments for tax reconciliations and submissions to SARS. Staying updated with tax legislation changes is essential, along with performing ad-hoc financial tasks as requested by the financial manager.
Job Experience and Skills Required:Completed Bcom
in
Accounting and related field
.2+ years experience in
Financial Sector.Insurance / Retirement Fund industry is preferred
