Work with U.S. Startups, Founders, & C-Level Executives as an Oceans Recruiter About Oceans Oceans is an outsourcing firm pairing the best talent in South Africa and Sri Lanka with CEOs, Startup Founders, and C-Level Executives in the U.S. The Role: Recruiter Oceans is seeking ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become a Senior Recruiter. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing the best possible candidates and the first steps in evaluating and vetting them. The Recruiter will focus on talent sourcing, candidate identification, networking and relationship building with potential candidates, attending networking events, and will introduce and monitor recruitment best practices including development and management of recruitment processes, procedures, and systems. Responsibilities Manage the selection process for home office based positions, including requisition management, development of position descriptions and recruitment strategy, and candidate selection. Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with Hiring Managers to ensure a complete understanding of the job requirements, candidate matches, and the qualifications needed to fill the role. Use findings to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, assessments, and closing approaches. Develop and ensure implementation of high-quality global recruitment, interviewing, selection, and strategic onboarding processes. Review applications and assess candidate qualifications against criteria established in the project job descriptions or Scope of Work requirements. Conduct thorough candidate prescreening interviews and recommend highly qualified and diverse candidates who meet the requirements for the role. Provide daily/weekly reports to hiring managers on a timely basis regarding status relating to all positions; including outreach and response for each position as needed. Requirements Language : Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Experience : 3 years working in a communication-heavy position at a reputable firm Education : Undergraduate degree preferred; related work experience accepted Who Should Apply This role is ideal for recruiters who are excited to work for, and learn from, U.S.-based Executives.
