REF68380 Customs Broker (Air & Sea) Cargowise 1, Cape Town, Rneg ctc Main Purpose of the Role Able to process a minimum of 26 Import and Export Bills of Entry in CW1 daily , able to manage Electronic Bond Store in CW1 Able to meet min of 26 files processed per day . Manage and complete Drawbacks . Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Customs . Grade 12 Brokerage or end to end file processing for Ocean/Air/Road imports and exports . Knowledgeable on CW1, Frame and pass CW1 Entries . Duties and Responsibilities Process and ensure Customs Release for Customs Clearance Declarations for all modes imports and exports according to KPI and Customs Legislation . Understand; apply the Customs Act and it extended schedules in line with processing Customs Declarations all modes . Manage workflow in the Customs team to process work according to KPI and Customs Legislation . Ensure correct tariff classification process are adhered to for all Customs Declarations . Ensure that the process for applying the rules of origin is applied to Customs Declarations . Ensure that proper Customs valuation methods are adhered to according to Customs Legislation . Report any errors and potential risks to management . Suggest training required to capture compliant Customs Clearance Declarations . Work overtime as per operational requirements
