We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled artisan with expertise in refrigeration systems and experience working with nitrogen. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our cold storage facility, ensuring that it operates efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on refrigeration equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
Repair or replace faulty components to restore proper operation of refrigeration equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Monitor temperature and humidity levels within the cold storage facility and make adjustments as needed.
Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly in accordance with industry regulations.
Work with nitrogen and other gases as necessary for system maintenance and repairs.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation of the cold storage facility.
Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in refrigeration systems.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Trade qualification as a Refrigeration Technician or similar field.
Proven experience working with refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with nitrogen and other gases used in refrigeration applications.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
