We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join a private hospital located in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for paediatric care, demonstrate clinical competence, and exhibit strong patient care orientation. Requirements: Nursing Diploma or Degree and registered with SANC Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Paediatric unit, with private hospital experience. Post Basic Qualification in Midwifery or Paediatric Nursing will be advantageous BLS (Basic Life Support) competency Compulsory shift work Ability to work independently and also effectively within a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels Key Outputs: Competently administer oral, intramuscular, and intravenous medication Competent in infant, toddler, and child physical assessment Assist Paediatricians during ward rounds Perform wound care and develop care plans Provide health education to parents and patients Liaison between patients, doctors, and staff members Ability to advocate for patients
