Job Advertisement: Relationship Manager Job Mission / Objective: As a Relationship Manager, your primary objective is to effectively manage a portfolio of customers by overseeing all transactional, lending, operational, and credit-related functions of business customer accounts. Reports to: Senior Manager: Business and Commercial Banking Impact on Business Results: Manage a profitable portfolio through retention, attraction, expansion, risk management, and other relationship management activities. Strive to establish the primary banking relationship for customers in the portfolio. Figures Affected by the Role (KPIs): Quantitative: Net results with respect to interest and non-interest income. Qualitative: Improved customer service and turnaround time. Strengthening and enhancing the efficiency of the relationship team. Main Responsibilities: Business (55%): Ensure business profitability and growth by retaining, attracting, and expanding customers in the portfolio. Collaborate with Operational Banker to meet customer lending needs through high-quality applications. Achieve 100% self-funding of the portfolio through attracting correctly priced deposits. Close cross and up-selling opportunities and distribute leads to internal business partners. Achieve Non-Interest Revenue targets. Relationship and Client Focus (20%): Engage with clients by conducting a specified number of customer visits. Ensure high client satisfaction by addressing and resolving any valid complaints. Continuously improve turnaround times and minimize customer losses. Risk Focus (20%): Ensure that risk metrics stay within set parameters for the portfolio. Support Operational Banker in all risk-related credit issues by conducting due diligence on applications according to bank policies. Adhere to AML / KYC regulations and market conduct/customer experience guidelines. Complete all compliance training and adhere to FAIS general code of conduct. Personal Development Objective (5%): Engage in self-development and manager-identified development opportunities. Provide coaching to new staff and actively participate in team development. Engage in Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives. Policies and Procedures: Adhere to relevant policies and execute applicable procedures. Business Planning/Decision Making: N/A People Management: No direct people management responsibilities. Other Role Elements: Contacts and Business Relationships: Internal: Business suite staff, credit and risk staff, operational support staff. External: Customers, professional networks. Job Requirements: Academic Knowledge: Relevant degree, FAIS RE5 competent. Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years in general banking, with at least 5 years as a Relationship Manager in the medium/large segment. Skills/Specialized Know-How: Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, strong communication, teamwork, resilience, stress tolerance, high integrity, and customer service orientation.
