Research Nurse, contract till Feb 26, East London - - East London

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Nursing Diploma or Degree and SANC registration as a Registered Nurse & NIMART trained
2+ years nursing experience, posts graduation
Due to study protocol only male candidates can be considered
Experience in health sector / clinical environment with at least 1 years experience in a research environment and knowledge of HIV including PrEP
Fluency in English & Xhosa with good MS Office ability
Able to work with youth of diverse backgrounds
Valid drivers and willing to travel
Contract is due to end in February 2026
Must have dispensing license

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Clinical Procedures clinical observations and procedures; ensure clinical areas / equipment are maintained; arrange medical waste collection; maintain equipment lists; medical condition guidance to participants
Protocol specific procedures oversee participant visits; manage screening, consent, enrolment & follow ups; perform interviews and clinical study procedures
Laboratory support manage samples; maintain / record temperatures; assist with testing
Study admin assist with admin tasks; enter/transcribe research data; participate in meetings; assist in inventory ordering and equipment management
