As they continue to grow and expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restaurant/Kitchen Manager to join their team. Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Restaurant/Kitchen Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant while maintaining high standards of service and culinary excellence. This position requires strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities: Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards. Develop and implement strategies to optimize restaurant performance and enhance customer satisfaction. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes. Train and mentor staff to uphold our client's standards of service and culinary excellence. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with management to develop menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Requirements: Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to undergo credit and criminal background checks. Reside on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Proven experience in restaurant management. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and restaurant management software. Salary: R25,000 per month.
