Reference: EL002683-Glyni-1 We are seeking a Retail Relief Store Manager, for a permanent role based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12, NQF 5/6 in Retail / Business Management advantageous 5 years' experience as a Branch Manager in a clothing retail environment Valid driver's license and good computer literacy Flexibility to travel / work in different stores The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Execution of marketing / operations plans; coordinate specific marketing, administrative, logistics, HR, sales and operations sequences and attend to genera applications and interventions Asset management – ensure outside if store is neat and inside fixtures are accounted for; coordination if maintenance / repair services Stock control – responsible for stock; stock requisitions; identify/report on slow selling items; stock takes and shrinkage management Merchandising – Co-ordinate shelf layout / promoting merchandise Marketing / sales – manage implementation if marketing promotions; prepare/direct staff; promotion participation; sales leadership; organizing special promotional sales & events Admin / Cash – ensure procedures are met; manage expenses; reporting daily figures Security / risk – manage security and monitor staff and ensure H&S standards are met Customer services – train staff and assist customers People management – assign employees; ensure / train employees; manage time & attendance; conduct staff meetings Salary: Market related Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to glynisbsheldon.colza with “Relief Manager PE” in the subject line If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
