The successful candidate will be responsible for enhance retention in men in care with specific focus on men (re)initiating ART, Men that are virally unsuppressed despite effective ART and Men at high risk of disengaging from care. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Recruit and receive referrals of high-risk men. Schedule and arrange appointments for clients at the clinics Refer the Not Yet Ready to the Social Auxiliary Worker after utilising the Adherence plan Promote and facilitate index testing and facilitate partner disclosure using the Index Screening Tool and actively refer for HTS. Promoting case finding for men. Specifically focus on men in line with DoH & Anova work plan and MEN Star and MINA . Provide Adherence Counselling to men who are re-initiated – Welcome Back Campaign using the existing Welcome Back Assessment Tool. Referral of men to relevant services e.g. (Index Testing, PrEP, GBV) Recruit and refer patients to I-ACT adult individual counselling or support groups Essential qualifications, skills and experience. Matric certificate. Basic knowledge on HIV/AIDS. General knowledge of health education. General knowledge of TB/HIV/PMTCT programme guidelines/counselling messages. General counselling skills. Ability to maintain confident information.
